Money Saving Deal

Me and my partner have 23 people to buy for between us, and we don’t have a great deal of cash as we’re saving for a mortgage deposit.

Even if I spend only £10 that’s £230! I tried homemaking gifts before (hampers, bath salts etc) but the materials were expensive too. How can we save cash?

Ok the story is my mom tries to find every little thing to save money. The deal is, when I shower, she tells me to put a bucket in the shower. When showering, water slowly fills up the bucket.

She uses the shower water to flush the toilet after she pees instead of pushing down the flush tab. Does this save more money? I feel very uncomfortable standing in the bucket. But if this actually helps save money (which I am doubtful), I will continue to do it.
