I saw this deal on dell outlet.

The specs are Inspiron Desktop 531 Mini-tower: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 3800+ (2.0GHZ), Genuine Windows Vista Home Basic. 1 GB DDR2 ram, 160 GB SATA Hard Drive, 48X CD RW/DVD Certified Refurbished for $199.00 .
Is the technology outdated ?

Please take a look at the link
http://outlet.us.dell.com/ARBOnlineSales/topics/global.aspx/arb/online/en/InventorySearch?c=us&cs=22&l=en&s=dfh

in Stockrooms tab select > “Inspiron” then sort by ^Price.

In the future if i want to upgrade, can i upgrade with any product like from newegg.com or only can upgrade from dell products.?

And is this a good deal ?
Or should I buy the spec from newegg.com and build it myself and save money?

I am using it to mainly watch videos from youtube, google, CNN. I have cable internet.

Thanks in advance

How and what is the best laid out plan to make this happen?

I know the general thought is to have 3 or six months of cash in “emergency savings”, but I work much better with round figures. What’s a good amount of cash to have “on hand”, in savings and easily to be reached? What would be appropriate? $5,000? $10,000? More?

Assume living in a non-high end metropolitan area in a blue-collar city.

Thanks in advance.

I live alone and I want to save money, so I’ve been repairing stuff around my home. Up until recently, I had never owned or used a hammer, but now I just use the internet as my guide and buy all of my supplies at the local hardware store.

When I mentioned I wanted to install the light, my friends insisted I not try it. Granted they say that about everything, including hammering nails and painting. In their universe, girls shouldn’t do little home repairs because they’ll get hurt. If I bought all the tools listed on the site, and turned off the power… Is there this huge risk that I’ll still get electrocuted? Should I just not attempt stuff that deals with wiring?

I’m a great writer, I’m in the AP english class, and i’m pretty much free after 3 PM. What are some job solutions for me?
