I’ve never driven to NYC before, but in a few weeks I’m going there to visit for about five days. I want to park my car at a train station, then take the train in so I don’t have to deal with NYC driving and parking. Where would a good, cheap-ish, safe place in Jersey be to do this, if I’m coming from the Pennsylvania Turnpike? Would parking at Newark airport be reasonable? I’m trying to save money, and it would be pointless if parking costs more than airfare, lol.
Oh, I know it’s a big state. I’m just not sure where in Jersey would be best. I’ve quite honestly only ever been to Newark, Millburn, and Montclair, so I don’t know much about where’s good to leave my car for five days. I’d like to leave it somewhere along the PATH. That narrows it down, lol. But I wouldn’t mind paying extra for trainfare if there’s a safer place to leave it.
