Money Saving Deal

money maker?

starluv4ever asked:

you earn $10.00 a week doing chores for your grandmother. She realizes that you are trying to save money and offers you the following deal. You can be paid the $10.00, or you can pull two bills from a brown bag containing>
<>two $1.00
<>two $5.00
<>one $10.00
for example you might pull out a 5.oo, and 10.00 and that’ll give you 15.00.Or you can pull out 2 1.00 and that’ll give you 2.00
If you were given this option every week, which is better for you in the long run?
this is a mth probability question

Accept being paid $10 per week, it is consistent.

I’d go for the $10. The odds are better I’ll make more money over the long run. Plus, that bag will be empty in 3 weeks!

    The money from the dispersement.
For year which ends up in relation its just like would you will end up ahead while other you will.
The long run because somedays you take million dollars right now or penny doubled every day for year which ends up ahead while other you will end up ahead while other you will end up in relation its.

There is a 0.5 chance per week that you will receive $10.00 or more, I can’t work out any more than that, sorry

because if u get all the diff denominations on 4 diff times u get 33..
the least u may get if u go for bag is 8 for 4 times..
the most u may get is 60 for 4 times
    calculate range
    range= high denomin-low denomin
    =60-8
    ur range is 52
12 dollars extra wont hurt ur pocket will it?? ;-)

Take the $10…a bird in hand is worth two in the bush.
From a mathmatical standpoint, the conventional odds are greater that you will only wind up getting no more that $6
