I know that it is very important to you to have a real diamond, but ask your intended if she minds if you bought a high quality zirconia. If she does not mind, check QVC, HSN and Shop NBC. QVC has at least three Diamonique yellow gold rings with a white gold setting. Promise her that you will upgrade as you spend more years together. I hope this helps.

Please don’t get her a “fake” diamond ring unless you’ve discussed it with your lady. I completely understand the sentiment of not overspending your budget and having the engagement be about your love and not the ring but trust me if she ever found out you lied to her she will be very upset. If you really do think its a great idea to get a fake diamond then tell her right away that its what you can afford and wanted to get her something that looked nice. If you hide the fact then you are starting off your engagement with a lie and thats not amusing at all.
Investing money is always good advice but you probably need the return fairly quickly. Selling things is a great idea, have a garage sale or do ebay. You’ll be amazed with how much money you can come up with just getting rid of stuff. I hear you can make money by puting ads on blog, you could write a funny one about how you are trying to save money and I bet people would read it. You could also offer to do some yard work or favors for people, that money could add up fast too. Good luck!
